Job Title: Senior Technology Architect

At IKEA, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our digital landscape.

About the Role

We're looking for a talented individual with a passion for technology and innovation. You will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our technology landscape and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Drive architecture work in a technology landscape with multi-generational legacy products, reducing waste through rationalization and standards.
  • Solve deep technical problems in a transforming landscape with several business models.
  • Drive common purpose across diverse stakeholders.
  • Set long-term strategic direction and manage its trade-offs.
Requirements
  • Proven advanced education in information technology, computer science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience from product and engineering organizations with proven Domain Architecture responsibility across multiple products, coexisting with legacy in the Technology Landscape.
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing service and solution architectures that are cloud-native, event-driven, and apply an API-first approach.
  • Experience working with Open Source and automation in delivering software.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Architecture and how to maintain technology architecture across a Product Area in the retail business, including modernizing existing legacy systems.
