Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Elevator Requirements Specialist to join our Product Development Center (PDC) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating requirement definition efforts on a global basis, supporting R&D teams during product development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the requirement definition efforts on a global basis, supporting R&D teams during product development.
  • Lead coordination during feature development, responsible for the feature functional specification, coordination with partners, product and feature documentation, etc.
  • Ensure the quality of requirement definitions, mitigating downstream turnbacks that may occur during product verification/validation.
  • Drive improved quality of requirements, leveraging existing standard work, harmonization, design guidelines, templates, and design process.
  • Establish and maintain high-quality test case requirements derived from detailed design requirements.
  • Successfully coordinate the creation of functional, non-functional, and interface test requirements across clusters, PDC's, and core matrixed development teams.
  • Clearly communicate with global key stakeholders.
  • Actively develop, encourage, and motivate subordinates and peers to sustainably perform to their best capabilities.
  • Translate code-related features into detailed design requirements associated with notified bodies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Desirable:
    • Hands-on experience with test case requirements generation and traceability tools.
    • Familiarity with the Atlassian tool chain (R4J, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket,...).
    • Experience in model-based documentation (e.g., UML Diagrams).
    • At least two years of embedded product experience within complex systems (preferably within a code-driven industry).
    • Ability to establish an environment conducive to open communications via active listening and empathetic skills.
    • Driving consensus with key stakeholders through persuasion utilizing conflict resolution skills.
    • Fluent English, additional languages are advantageous.
    • Willingness to travel internationally, open mind, and being very flexible.
    • Ability to translate high-level market/customer features into detailed design requirements.
    • Technical understanding of software-controlled electro-mechanical systems.
