About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Subsea Cabling Engineer to join our team at Enbw Energie Baden-Württemberg. As a key member of our Plant Engineering and IAG department, you will play a crucial role in the planning and construction of offshore wind farms.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in technical issues related to the sub-project "inner-park cabling", including tendering for cables, contract negotiations, and managing the cable supply contract.
• Support the team in issues related to approval, cable design, cable installation, and system electrics, with a focus on determining optimal cable routing and key criteria such as transportation and installation.
• Ensure frequent communication and exchange of experience with the line organization and other areas involved, such as category management.
• Participate in close coordination with other sub-projects and project teams, including occasional participation in "troubleshooting".
• Contribute to research and industry-related projects.

Requirements

• University degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
