About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Generative AI team at OLX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and mentoring junior data scientists to develop and deploy disruptive Generative AI video services at scale across all OLX platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive scalable impact and develop innovative solutions using Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Collaborate with data engineers and infrastructure teams to design and implement large-scale data pipelines and workflows
  • Work with product analytics to track KPIs and measure the impact of ML use cases on our customers
  • Partner with the experimentation team to integrate KPIs and proxies into the experimentation platform
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with Generative AI and LLMs
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive scalable impact
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with cloud-based tools, such as AWS Athena, AWS Sagemaker, and AWS Kinesis
  • Strong engineering background, with proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow
