About the Role
As a seasoned Sr. Director of Global Key Account Sales at Amcor, you will be responsible for driving growth across assigned global key accounts. This strategic leadership role entails developing and executing strategies for account growth, customer satisfaction, commercial profit delivery, and gross contributions. You will lead select teams, including Regional Key Account leaders, and collaborate with BG/BU Sales & Marketing teams to define global aspirations and develop account plans.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop a cross-BG and customer-signed-off aspiration for assigned global key accounts.
  • Account Planning: Oversee development and management of account plans for global key accounts.
  • Customer Relationships: Establish strong and sustainable customer relationships, understand customer requirements, and deliver value propositions.
  • Market Intelligence: Leverage global market and customer intelligence to drive business growth.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve sales, growth, and contribution objectives by facilitating joint business planning and overseeing governance models.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Integrated Decisions: Facilitate integrated/cross-business decisions on sales and marketing to optimize for Amcor's interests.
  • Collaboration: Model collaboration internally and with customers to execute on global innovation agendas.
  • Commercial Excellence: Implement commercial excellence programs and principles with the sales team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in business, marketing, economics, engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in commercial or adjacent roles in complex industries (ideally food/healthcare packaging).
  • Skills: Strong experience in strategic leadership, ability to operate within a matrix organization, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus.

Compensation and Benefits: We offer an estimated salary range of $140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on location and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
