As a key member of our team, you will drive the creation of innovative services that help our clients bring life-changing products to market faster than ever before.
About the Role
As a Lead Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer, you will:
- Lead a cross-functional team to build scalable language services in the areas of NLP, NLU, and NLG for live SaaS products.
- Develop models that solve real-world problems and drive business growth.
- Help develop and groom an experiment and product feature backlog to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Optimize models for production throughput and uptime requirements to ensure high-quality services.
- Automate deployments, testing, and monitoring (MLOps) to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 8+ years of experience developing data & analytics products like sentiment analyzers, translation engines, summarizers, or other language services.
- 3+ years of experience leading teams to produce data and analytics software products.
- Expertise in Machine Learning, Modeling, and development with Python.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations in AI/ML and incorporating compliance into MLOps processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Production experience with GenAI, LLMs, Recommendation Engines, or AWS offerings for AI and ML, including SageMaker, Bedrock, and Lex, is a plus. A Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or information systems is also preferred.
