Job Title: Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer


We are seeking a skilled Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our Rademade team.



Key Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Ruby Development
  • Strong experience with Ruby on Rails (4/5) framework
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English
  • Rspec/Minitest
  • Experience in relational databases like MySQL
  • Experience with Sidekiq or Resque or similar
  • Experiences with search engines like Sphinx or Elasticsearch or similar
  • Basic knowledge of Linux server administration and Nginx configuration
  • Ready to follow community coding principles and understand SOLID
  • Work commitment within Agile/Scrum methodologies and teamwork
  • Self-motivated / open-minded


Desirable Skills:

  • Profound SCSS knowledge
  • 1+ years of commercial experience in HTML/CSS
  • Familiarity with jQuery
  • Understanding Docker

  • Cooperate with the team (Polish and Ukrainian side)
  • Code review
  • Write robust manageable code
  • Write tests

  • Perform software deployment
  • Use JIRA bug-tracking system

  • Research new technologies and best practices to improve the project
