Although you may not be familiar with our name, our products are integral to daily life. We are a top provider of sustainable packaging solutions, paper products, and recycling services, operating across multiple countries. Our packaging solutions are utilized in various sectors, from retail to e-commerce, showcasing our dedication to sustainability and innovation.
Program Overview
Your journey will commence at our paper mill, where you will gain insights into the paper-making process, the machinery involved, and our operational standards. You will be tasked with assessing production processes and ensuring quality control, intervening when necessary to maintain smooth operations and minimize waste.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit other mills to learn best practices that can be implemented at our facility, ensuring we remain at the forefront of quality and safety standards. This two-year program offers a pathway to various career opportunities, whether in leadership or specialized roles within our engineering or production teams.
Professional Development
Alongside hands-on training, you will embark on the DS Smith Graduate Journey, which provides a structured development roadmap to support your career growth. You will receive a thorough induction into our business, including tours of our facilities.
In your first year, you will focus on self-leadership and personal effectiveness, while the second year will emphasize leadership skills, stakeholder engagement, and influence. At the conclusion of the program, you will present your learnings, celebrate your achievements, and collaborate with your Talent Lead to identify your ideal permanent position.

Candidate Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Automation, or Robotics) or be on track to complete one.
- Be prepared to start full-time.
- Possess fluency in English and Spanish (minimum B2 level).
- Have a desire to build a long-term career within our organization.
- Hold the necessary right to work.
