About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Lead to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead data analysis for our Spanish market, including seller strategy, creator strategy, business performance, and reporting.
  • Coach and grow a team of data analysts to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Design monitoring systems to reflect changes in business operations in real-time.
  • Collaborate with the Ops team to set strategy and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Follow up on data analysis for local business teams in multiple markets and provide optimization suggestions.
  • Describe business situations, explain fluctuations, and provide valuable suggestions with reports.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement optimization schemes and drive business growth.
  • Build data systems and user-friendly data products to support business.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree or above in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in data science, with a strong business sense in e-commerce.
  • At least 2 years of people management experience.
  • Proficient in SQL, Hive, Python, or R, with experience in massive data manipulation and machine learning.
  • Solid technical knowledge of A/B testing methodologies.
  • Insightful data sense and rigorous logical mindset.
  • Global working experience or analytical experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills for daily communications with global teams.
  • Strong learning ability and curiosity.
  • Ability to work under pressure and overcome difficulties.
