Position: Corporate Accountant

The Corporate Accountant has responsibility for various monthly closing tasks such as intercompany reconciliations and other income and expense analysis.

The objectives of the role for consolidation accountant are:

  1. To perform monthly/quarterly close processes
  2. To send monthly closing communications to stakeholders
  3. To aid in the monthly consolidation within the established deadlines.
  4. Work closely with Global Business Services (GBS) and Finance operations teams to correct all issues identified in the monthly close process
Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive accuracy and completeness of financial statements in conformance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  2. Validate foreign exchange rates after loading
  3. Perform intercompany reconciliation process for both Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet each month
  4. Partner with Treasury and Tax and provide accounting support where needed
  5. Become a super user and expert in OneStream
  6. Manage monthly journal entry process and communicate SAP corrections needed
  7. Support annual report footnote preparation
  8. Support financial compliance and ensure all controls are being performed monthly (ie monthly close tracker)
  9. Support external audit
  10. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across functions ensuring cross collaboration to deliver the best solution
Requirements
  1. Experience participating in the group consolidation.
  2. Strong accounting skills
  3. Demonstrated ability to work across functions and geographic boundaries.
  4. Good communication skills
