About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Frontend Developer with expertise in React and to join our dynamic team at Verisk. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building high-performance, scalable web applications and a keen interest in generative AI, cloud technologies, and geospatial data.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain high-quality hybrid applications using React and
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions
* Integrate Generative AI models and cloud processing capabilities into front-end applications
* Work with geospatial data to create interactive and visually appealing maps and features
* Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
* Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a focus on React and
* Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
* Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
* Knowledge of generative AI concepts and cloud processing technologies
* Experience working with geospatial data and mapping libraries (e.g. Leaflet, Mapbox)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with server-side rendering and static site generation using
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
* Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects
