Database Architect Job

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing database solutions that meet the needs of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture and administration, with experience working with distributed databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, and MySQL. You will also have expertise in data modeling, performance tuning, and issue resolution.

In addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be self-motivated, proactive, and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement database architectures for large-scale systems
  • Develop and maintain database schema and data models
  • Optimize database performance and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure database integration with applications
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on database-related code
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in database architecture and administration
  • Expertise in database setup, performance tuning, and issue resolution
  • Strong knowledge of SQL/CQL and data modeling
  • Hands-on experience with multi-data-center deployments and monitoring tools
  • Experience with scripting and automation languages (Python, Java, Bash)
