Job Title: Junior Credit Controller

At AWWG, we are seeking a highly skilled Junior Credit Controller to join our team. As a Junior Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our portfolio of international clients, reducing risk, and improving our cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts receivable for our distribution markets, focusing on reducing DSO and improving our brand's financial performance.
  • Monitor and analyze financial tools used in international trade, such as LC, SBLC, and BG, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce DSO and improve cash flow.
  • Communicate effectively with customer service departments and external agents to resolve collection issues.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the credit insurance agency to negotiate credit limits and monitor debtor agreements.
  • Establish and standardize procedures for reminders, claims, and complaints.
  • Perform daily cash posting and reconcile accounts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in economics or a STEM field.
  • Knowledge of international trade and financial instruments.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish and other languages are valued.
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with SAP, BI, and BO is a plus.
