Composite Materials Project Manager

In this role, you will work with site personnel to execute projects efficiently and effectively with minimal impact on existing operations. You will also coordinate with the local technical and operational teams to ensure key project and site objectives are met. To succeed in this position, you will need to monitor project progress and performance, communicate project status with senior employees and project stakeholders, develop and deliver formal presentations to management as necessary. Additionally, you will develop proposals or RFQ's for the purposes of scoping or estimating capital investments and work with vendors and/or contractors to optimize system performance.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Manufacturing experience is essential, and you should demonstrate the ability to manage projects and fulfill responsibilities associated with project engineering teams. You should also have knowledge of a range of engineering disciplines, including instrumentation, electrical, civil, mechanical, and chemical. Furthermore, you should be able to work within and lead multi-disciplinary teams and possess excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
