As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a high-impact fundraising strategy that maximizes revenue from individuals, corporations, and foundations across Spain.
Key Responsibilities:- Fundraising Strategy Development: Create and execute a dynamic fundraising plan for Spain, targeting high-net-worth individuals, corporate donors, foundation grants, and grassroots donors, with a focus on maximizing unrestricted funds.
- Donor Cultivation & Relationship Management: Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with potential donors in Spain, ensuring a long-term commitment to our mission.
- Grant Writing & Proposal Development: Work closely with our US-based grant-writing team for support in writing and submitting proposals to Spanish-based foundations and corporations, with a focus on securing sustainable funding.
- Climate & Conflict Fundraising: Spearhead efforts to boost support for our Climate Disaster Fund and humanitarian work in active conflict zones, positioning these funds as critical to the future of our global work.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in fundraising, with a track record of success in securing significant donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
