At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we're committed to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with our customers.

As a representative of our company, you'll be responsible for providing technical support and services to our customers in Spain and Portugal, with occasional travel to other countries in EMEA. Your expertise will be focused on material characterization, rapid elemental analysis, and information of materials applications.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering and building service excellence over and above customer expectations
  • Representing our company in a positive, professional manner
  • Providing services remote or at site within agreed conditions
  • Maintaining high levels of customer allegiance through strong relationships and excellent customer experience

Requirements include:

  • Five years of work experience in technical services
  • Field service experience or strong service knowledge
  • Preferable knowledge in heavy industrial processes
  • Outstanding fixing skills and passion for electromechanical, software, and application issues

We're looking for a self-organized and effective individual with excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral in English. Ability to work efficiently with customers and colleagues in difficult and stressful situations is essential. PC literacy, including MS Office and Outlook, is also required. Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 80% are necessary.
