Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Procurement Manager Apprentice to join our team at Dsm-firmenich. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for supporting the Global sourcing manager in developing and implementing end-to-end sourcing strategies for Taste Raw materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Global sourcing manager in developing and implementing end-to-end sourcing strategies for Taste Raw materials.
  • Source and introduce new raw materials, including identifying potential suppliers, monitoring samples' approval, and requesting and reviewing documentation.
  • Source and introduce new suppliers, including identifying potential suppliers, initiating RFP/RFQ, and monitoring documentation.
  • Launch tenders and analyze submissions.
  • Support team objectives on Supplier Performance, Sustainability, Cash Flow, and Cost savings.

Requirements

  • Degree from University or College in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Science, or Agronomy.

  • Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, strategic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluent written and spoken English, good level of French and Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); Basic ERP and query skillset (SAP experience preferred).
