Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatic Safety Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our patrons while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce Safety Regulations: Protect swimmers from hazardous conditions by ensuring that safety and pool rules and regulations are enforced.
- Supervise Swimmers: Supervise swimmers for safety and crowd control, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
- Perform Rescue Work: Perform rescue work, promptly render emergency first aid, and call for medical assistance as necessary.
- Manage Emergency Situations: Manage respiratory and cardiac emergencies, including performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), bag-valve-mask resuscitation, or automatic external defibrillation (AED).
- Maintain Emergency Equipment: Use and maintain care of emergency equipment, such as specialized kits and rescue bags, backboards, head immobilizers, suction devices, splints, stretchers, oxygen delivery systems, and monitoring equipment.
- Provide Customer Service: Teach various swimming skills and water safety for all age groups, ensuring the safety of all patrons in the class.
- Problem-Solving: Responsible for solving any problems related to work, keeping the Assistant Manager informed of all problem areas and new methods of accomplishing assignments.
- Training and Development: Assist in the training of assigned lifeguards and recreational swimming instructors, administer swim tests, and schedule use of lanes and pool space for patrons.
