About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend services. Your primary focus will be on developing server-side logic, defining and maintaining our central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This will involve working on APIs, collaborating with designers on CMSs, and ensuring high-quality code reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside other developers and designers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Discuss work and requirements through JIRA and assign tasks to freelancers as needed.
  • Understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs.
  • Code designs with other developers from the team and conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality.
  • Deploy code to live environments and work on revising and developing data-crunching algorithms.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in web development with a strong background in server-side and client-side application development.
  • Excellent command and experience using Symfony 3.4+ and/or Laravel frameworks.
  • Experience working with relational databases and NoSQL databases.
  • Advanced knowledge of REST API architectures.
  • Experience with Git and/or other SCM systems, with solid knowledge of GitHub.
  • Familiarity with JIRA or other project management and task systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with working in Agile teams.
