About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Economic and Financial Consultant to join our team at FTI Consulting. As a key member of our Economic and Financial Consulting (EFC) practice, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate complex legal, regulatory, and international arbitration proceedings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver incisive interpretation of complex economic issues to support strategic decision-making and public policy debates worldwide.
  • Collaborate with international law firms, global conglomerates, FTSE 100 companies, governments, and regulators to provide expert advice on economic and financial matters.
  • Draw on a diverse set of skills to answer a wide range of economic and financial questions, often in the context of legal disputes.
  • Provide valuation services for commercial, reporting, and regulatory purposes, including licensing, investment appraisal, fiscal valuation, and transfer pricing.
Recent Projects
  • Quantifying the effect of regulatory changes in the solar power industry: We were engaged by a number of investors in solar power plants to assess the economic justification for changes to regulatory regimes that defined how their facilities were paid, and to quantify the impact of the changes on the value of their investments in those facilities.
