MHE Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MHE Instructor to join our team and deliver high-quality training to novice drivers in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver classroom and practical training to novice drivers on MHE equipment, including counterbalance, PPT, and wide straddle.
• Provide ongoing information, advice, and guidance to drivers and management teams.
• Ensure all MHE refresher training is completed, and standard operating procedures are followed.
• Support the People Development Manager in achieving required shift performance through delivering specific training initiatives.
• Conduct site inductions, set up new starters on T&A systems, and develop and implement operational capabilities of colleagues.
• Liaise with the People Development Manager, People Development Supervisor, and operational managers to manage delivery of training plans.
• Be a role model for standards of safety, product care, and Key Performance Indicators, communicating these standards effectively to the site.
• Support operational project delivery through facilitating training resources and effective delivery of operational training.

Requirements:

• Previous FLT experience within a warehouse environment is desirable.
• RTITB Instructor training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and partnering skills.
• Ability to solve problems, work independently, and as part of a team.
• Experience in working within a DC environment is preferred but not essential.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering learning activities, aligned to business objectives.
• Ability to flex working hours and areas as and when required.
• Experience in driving counterbalance, reach, and PPTs.
