About the Role
You will report to the VP of Clinical, Medical & Regulatory while working in close collaboration with the RareD BU Senior Director. You will be responsible for leading the medical strategy and plan execution of an exciting pipeline directly and through the management of the team. You will also ensure accuracy of medical and scientific information regarding Novo Nordisk products through all channels while working according to Business Ethics procedures, local law, NNWay and NN policies & guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Be a true leader: foster the team to take ownership and act boldly, coach and share feedback, understand and identify training needs, ensure team well-being and motivation.
* Define the KOL engagement strategy, building and growing a solid scientific relation with the appropriate physicians, Scientific Societies and other relevant stakeholders.
* Provide cross-functional expertise to internal and external stakeholders and represent at local and global meetings.
* Ensure accuracy of medical and scientific information regarding Novo Nordisk products through all channels while working according to Business Ethics procedures, local law, NNWay and NN policies & guidelines.
Requirements
* Education: Medical Doctor
* Solid experience and track record in the pharmaceutical industry gained from Medical affairs area. At least 5 years holding a leadership role, driving the medical strategy and leading both functional and cross-functional teams.
* Experience with a wide range of Therapeutical Areas, showing the ability to learn and adapt to different environments and challenges. Experience in Rare Diseases is required, ideally in Haemophilia or Endocrine disorders.
* Fluent in English and Spanish.

You are a strong collaborator and communicator, capable of having deep scientific dialogues with KOLs and other stakeholders. You are also a natural leader able to take the team to the next level. Navigating uncertainty, setting direction and making decisions with limited information is key for this role. Finally, you share our passion and determination to improve patients' lives.
