Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Piping Designer to lead the design activities of process units in Oil Gas projects.
Job DescriptionAs a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for taking full ownership of the design activities of assigned units. You'll report directly to the project piping leader and collaborate with other specialists involved in the studies.
- Learns and handles all applicable job specifications, piping classes, standards, and working instructions needed for correct development of assigned work.
- Transmits instructions to and manages an assigned design team.
- Develops critical designs and supports less experienced designers.
- Cordinates with other specialists involved in the studies (civil, stress, material, supports) and follows up on interfaces.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree or Technical Degree.
- More than 6 years of work experience in a similar function.
- Relevant experience in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical Industry.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English (B1 level).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral in English.
- Experience and knowledge of Softwares: E3D, AutoCAD, and Microstation.
