Currently, we are in search of a Senior Backend Engineer Leader to join the team of our partner.

Our client is a Spanish scaleup in full expansion, with headquarters in Barcelona and international presence.

They utilize AI, predictive models, and advanced technologies to empower their clients.

The Mission:

Lead a team of Python engineers focused on building automations based on artificial intelligence.

The Role:

Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to the Python development team, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and performance optimization.

Collaborate with project managers, product teams, and other stakeholders to plan and execute development tasks, ensuring timely delivery of features and projects.

Oversee the design, implementation, and delivery of backend services, APIs, and systems using Python and related technologies.

Define and refine the architecture of backend services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Work closely with other engineering teams (frontend, DevOps, data science) to ensure smooth integration of components and technologies.

Tackle technical challenges and provide solutions for complex backend problems, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance stability and efficiency.

Participate in the hiring process to attract top-level Python talent and support the professional growth and development of team members.

What do we need?

1-2 years of experience leading teams is desirable.

Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of stakeholders.

Ability to lead and manage high-performance teams.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
