Teaching Opportunity in Paris

Are you a passionate English language teacher looking for a part-time opportunity in the vibrant city of Paris? The British Council, a global organization dedicated to cultural relations and education, is seeking an experienced teacher to join their team in the Il-de-France region.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced English language teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and support the wider aims of the British Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering 6-12 hours per week of English language teaching to students in the Il-de-France region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English language lessons that cater to different customer groups and individual learning styles.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help students achieve their goals.
  • Contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of English language courses, materials, and services.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to teaching and reporting.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree.
  • A recognized TEFL certification (Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL).
  • At least one year of post-certificate experience in teaching English as a foreign language.
  • Experience in teaching relevant age groups (Early Years, Primary, Lower Secondary, Upper Secondary, Adults, and Cambridge suite and IELTS exam preparation courses).
