Strategic Sourcing Manager, Procurement and Luxury Goods

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, owners, and business units to drive effective sourcing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Execute sourcing projects in line with the portfolio strategy, defining project goals, timelines, roles, and responsibilities, and establishing a project management cadence.
  2. Strategic Sourcing: Apply contemporary methods and innovative approaches, such as total cost of ownership, e-Auctions, should-cost models, and raw material index agreements, to drive cost savings and efficiency.
  3. Implementation and Communication: Develop comprehensive implementation and communication plans with stakeholders and end-users, ensuring seamless execution and adoption.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Ensure involvement of all organizations and individuals impacted, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  5. Results Measurement: Quantify and document results, providing actionable insights to inform future sourcing strategies.
  6. Negotiation and Contract Management: Develop and execute negotiation strategies to achieve desired outcomes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and deploy standard reporting for key stakeholders, providing insights into satisfaction, engagement, and performance against sourcing activities.
  8. Category Expertise: Develop and maintain deep category expertise across indirect spend categories, staying up-to-date on market trends and innovations.
  9. Policy and Compliance: Provide stewardship of strategic sourcing policy, ensuring compliance and adoption throughout the organization.
  10. Performance Monitoring: Produce and analyze regional performance reports and dashboards, tracking financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Process Management, Analytics, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, management consulting, advisory, or professional services, with a proven track record of results and increasing responsibility. Strong people management and change management skills, with a high degree of resilience and self-motivation.
