Job Summary:

Gerry's Restaurant And Bar is seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Kitchen Steward to join our team. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize all kitchen work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes to ensure a clean and safe environment for our staff and customers.
  • Sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and tidy kitchen.
  • Remove and dispose of kitchen garbage in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist the cook and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
