About the Role

As a key member of our global Offshore Wind Advisory team at Oilandgas.Org, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of renewable energy. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Consultant Wind Turbine and Electrical Expert to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and strategic advice on wind turbine electrical systems, including support for clients in shaping winning strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.
  • Lead and support relevant working packages for wind turbine scopes and interfaces, ensuring adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems during project execution of wind turbine projects.
  • Support and lead technical preparation, coordination, and management of wind turbine scope tendering processes, in collaboration with external stakeholders and clients.
  • Develop and improve standard and modular technical requirements for the contracting of the wind turbine scope in international projects.
  • Prepare technical specifications, manuals, and operating procedures to support project documentation requirements and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports related to the activities.
  • Provide training and mentorship to project team members, subcontractors, and field personnel through fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in wind turbine electrical systems, with experience in project execution and technical due diligence. You will also need to have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
