As a key member of our Packaging Group Purchasing team, you will be responsible for tactical purchasing processes, local negotiations, and contract management.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct sourcing processes in accordance with company operational procedures to identify suitable suppliers.
- Negotiate with suppliers in line with company guidelines and corporate agreements.
- Support Category Manager in monitoring supplier portfolios and collecting information for supplier performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align planned activities and deliveries.
- Provide site leadership for packaging procurement activities, tasks, and initiatives.
- Work with vendors to resolve supply, quality, or delivery issues.
- Deliver established budget and cost savings targets through competitive bidding and effective negotiation of supply and service agreements.
- Identify future opportunities for cost savings and leverage opportunities with other sites.
- Track and record savings projects.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for packaging materials in alignment with stakeholders' needs and Group Procurement guidelines.
- Manage the RFI/RFP process according to Global and local Sourcing policies.
- Negotiate key supplier contracts for packaging and payment terms.
