Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the aviation sales team to achieve revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and developing sales strategies.
  • Provide daily support to the Deputy General Manager for aviation duties in Spain & Portugal, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to increase market share and profitability, working closely with the sales team and other stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the aviation industry through regular sales calls, tailored to specific airline targets, as well as organizing sales blitz events and virtual meetings.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business decisions and identify new opportunities for clients.
  • Create and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing our company's expertise and value proposition.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Carry out regular market research, competitor analysis, and benchmarking to stay ahead of the competition and drive business growth.
  • Organize and execute participation in fairs, events, seminars, roadshows, and functions to promote our company's brand and services.


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation, travel agency, tour operator sales, or related field.
  • Good network in the travel industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage a multisegment account portfolio.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with knowledge of GDS Amadeus, eSmash & Sabre ADI desirable.
  • Willingness to travel as required, with the ability to conduct statistical reviews and analyze results to improve operation methods and processes.
  • Ability to prioritize both in terms of workload and in prioritizing which initiatives/actions will have the greatest business impact.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in Spanish & English, with other languages a plus.
  • Great interpersonal skills and a pleasant, outgoing personality, with the ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment.
