About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Developer to join our team at Blu Selection. As a Product Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative beauty products that meet the highest standards of quality, efficacy, and market appeal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new beauty products, collaborating closely with the business owner to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for new product development, staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and emerging technologies.
  • Create detailed product formulations, specifications, and prototypes using industry-standard tools and techniques, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Test and refine prototypes, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and end-users to ensure the highest quality products.
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring all milestones are met within budget and on schedule, coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, and other external partners to source raw materials and packaging components.
  • Oversee the production process, from initial concept to final product launch, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with company goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product development within the beauty industry, with a strong understanding of product development processes from ideation to commercialisation.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the business owner and other team members.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to beauty and personal care products, and a passion for beauty innovation.
