Job Summary

Vodafone is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to lead the development of various IoT projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet our business requirements.

About the Role

  • Oversee the development team's progress to ensure alignment with the initial design and technical requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Evaluate and identify opportunities for new technology solutions or methodologies to enhance current or future products and services.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for selected domain environments and ecosystems.
  • Influence and build effective relationships with peers within the group, local markets, suppliers, and partners.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of server technologies, including Java Enterprise, Oracle 11G, Linux, and Windows.
  • Strong academic knowledge and professional experience of software development, including design and development patterns.
  • Experience in providing and maintaining transformations and APIs for customers and partners.
  • Good understanding of databases, including Oracle, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.
  • Experience with Java frameworks, SpringBoot, Spring technologies, and Camunda.
  • Experience with container systems (docker) and orchestrators (docker compose, Kubernetes).
