About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing and Profitability Optimization Manager to join our team at Danaher. As a key member of our Pricing, Contracts Governance and Compliance Team, you will be responsible for maximizing margins and driving profitability for our European sales operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions.
  • Monitor and evaluate pricing performance at a Country, Customer, and contract level, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to support decision-making and analysis.
  • Analyze sales deals to validate profitability data and calculations before signing a contract.
  • Contribute to and lead margin optimization initiatives in alignment with the Finance Director and key stakeholders of the commercial teams.
  • Create a Profitability Playbook to enable profitable and sustainable growth in Europe.
  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to generate insights and recommendations on pricing effectiveness and profitability.
Requirements
  • Several years of international experience in pricing, revenue management, or related roles.
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Experience with pricing analytics and modeling techniques, including data analysis and manipulation using data analytics tools.
  • Experience in Change Management.
  • Fluent English in written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the Healthcare or Medical Devices industry.
  • Experience addressing the differences between private-public environment and direct-indirect sales models.
