Product Lifecycle Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and influence a diverse portfolio of products, working closely with a dedicated team of professionals in the Microbiology Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

As a Product Lifecycle Manager, you will be responsible for projects impacting portfolio optimization, acting as a liaison between Sales, Regional Marketing, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Affairs, Technical/Customer Support, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. You will hold end-to-end accountability for the portfolio health, focusing on increasing profitability and decreasing complexity.

International travel will be required, with a focus on our sites in Basingstoke (UK), Wesel (Germany), and Lenexa (USA). Ideally, you will live within commuting distance of an international airport.

Responsibilities:
• Full ownership and accountability of the annual SKU health project, including product discontinuation, price adjustment, and optimization.
• Ownership of certain business lines in the food molecular portfolio, collaborating with other divisions of Thermo Scientific.
• Definition of the rules of engagement, technical service, payment terms, minimum order quantity, transfer prices.
• Creation and ownership of the Tailored Solution project, aiming at introducing specific custom-made products and services to key customers.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or similar field.
• Experience within Microbiology, preferably as a scientist, salesperson, or marketer.
• Experience in Product Management of life science or technical products and services, including conducting product lifecycle analysis and rationalization projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
