Job Description:

GANT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced store manager to lead our retail team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring excellent customer service, and developing your team to meet the demands of the fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales Success: Drive sales growth by meeting or exceeding monthly and annual targets, while maintaining a deep understanding of our product assortment and features.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, setting the standard for your team to follow.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members who share our passion for fashion and lifestyle concepts.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless day-to-day operations, including staff administration, visual presentations, and merchandising that meet company standards.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with your team, ensuring they are up-to-date on brand guidelines initiatives, product knowledge, and sustainability targets.
  • Sales and Performance: Utilize your knowledge of KPIs to drive sales performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Candidate Qualifications:
    • Prior Retail Experience: A minimum of 3 years in management roles within the retail apparel industry, with experience in coaching and developing teams, planning and time management, sales and customer service, recruitment and selection processes, and outlet/full-price stores.
    • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and preferably additional languages.
    • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or education preferred.
    • Microsoft Office Package Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office package applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
