Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support our propulsion and vehicle teams. The ideal candidate will lead mechanical design projects, generate 3D CAD models, and develop technical documentation from conceptual phase to manufacturing and testing. This role involves managing suppliers, selecting standard parts, and contributing to DMU and configuration management.
Salary: €90,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience. A competitive salary reflecting the industry standards for such a position.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- +5 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, sheet metal forming, composites, and additive manufacturing.
- Excellent CAD and PLM skills, including part design, DWGs, DMU management.
- Good understanding of engineering material properties and analytical skills, including dimensioning, calculations, load path definitions, basic stress calculations, energy, and power.
- Proficiency in Siemens tool suite NX and TeamCenter PLM system would be a plus.
