We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Grid Code Compliance Engineer to join our Engineering team at Nordex SE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our wind turbines comply with the latest grid code requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement grid code compliance strategies to ensure our products meet the latest regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate grid code requirements into software development processes.
- Define and execute test plans to ensure grid code compliance on wind farm, wind turbine, and component levels.
- Analyze test data and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of grid code requirements and industry trends.
- Provide technical expertise to support sales and project teams.
- M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or similar.
- Experience with grid code requirements and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of software development processes and testing methodologies.
- Programming experience in Python or similar.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent English spoken and written. Spanish and/or German is a plus.
