Job Summary

Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a leading institution in biomedical research, innovation, and teaching. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientific Clinical Monitor to join our Rheumatology Research Group.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of Case Report Forms (CRFs) and variables dictionaries
  • Coordinate and execute all aspects of clinical monitoring, ensuring compliance with good clinical practice and regulatory requirements
  • Train and support clinical research personnel at collaborating sites on protocol procedures and implementation
  • Review data collection for accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor project status and identify potential issues
  • Interact with clinical investigators, medical staff, management, lab technicians, and informaticians

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science-related field
  • More than 4 years of experience in clinical research and/or clinical trials data monitoring
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to work under deadlines
  • Ability to work with human study participants
  • Proficient in word processing and database applications
  • Knowledge of auditing, good clinical practice, and regulatory requirements
