About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IXL V&V Designer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality railway signalling solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead project test means development to ensure Verification, Integration, and Test activities for delivering a complete, correct, and accurate Customer Solution in line with Project contractual requirements.
  • Work closely with teams across the business to define and execute the global project solution, including all system interfaces, all the V-cycle activities related to in-house validation (Verification, Integration, Testing), and site functional tests.
  • Ensure the application and adherence to the reference processes, methods, and tools, requesting waivers whenever appropriate.
  • Specify Test Means to be used during V&V sessions, taking into account requirement specification, architecture description, and interface description.
  • Develop Test Means in laboratory, including installing HW and deploying the necessary SW, configuring test environments, defining and running tests, and reporting test results.
  • Perform integration tests, including test specification, test performance, and reporting.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, including regular inspections, receiving new material, managing shipments, and ensuring EHS conditions are fulfilled.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including keeping inventory updated, identifying material needs, and launching new orders.
  • Participate in delivery reviews before starting activities on field.
  • Support the T&C team when needed, occasionally requiring travel to perform site testing.
About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. If you have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with IXL and ICC systems, preferably in design, integration, or testing teams, and possess deep knowledge of Railway signalling principles and IXL subsystem architecture, we encourage you to apply.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is proactive in performing tests beyond formal procedures, debugging possible faults, and reporting them to responsible parties within the organization.

Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken, is essential for this position.
