**About the Role**

The Quality Assurance function at Empresa reconocida has the global mandate to confirm that all aspects of the internal audit activity are compliant with regulatory policies and standards, to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of our activities and to identify opportunities for improvement.

Reporting to the Head of Audit Quality, this role requires a team player with strong communication and coordination capabilities and requires working closely with different levels of our staff and teams globally.

This position offers exposure to Audit Leadership across multiple divisions and locations and therefore offers great scope for career development.

The Senior Audit Quality Assurance Specialist works on audits of a specific business/functional area/region, and evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to risks.

They will proactively develop and maintain professional consultative working relationships within their own function and with stakeholders inside and outside the company and respective support areas.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Review audit documentation and audit results for compliance with methodology and adequacy of risk coverage, and lead QA reviews
  • Review GA and QA procedures with the aim of improving effectiveness and efficiency
  • Identify and highlight issues and trends that contribute to process improvement
  • Answer urgent ad-hoc requests independently and on their own responsibility
  • Support the Head of Quality Assurance and work closely with GA Management, as well as other teams in Professional Practices

**Requirements**

  • Experience in an Internal Audit role covering financial services topics (Internal Audit Quality Assurance experience and/or Expertise in Investment Bank / Markets a plus)
  • Experience in advising stakeholders, a plus if from across multiple locations
  • Team working capabilities and an ability to build business and team relationships
  • Excellent English communication skills both oral and written
