About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Director to join our team at Doist. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the visual identity of our products, including Todoist, Doist, and Twist.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Evolve Our Visual Brand Identity: Create and implement a comprehensive visual brand strategy that aligns with our business goals and values.
  2. Lead and Mentor the Brand Design Team: Oversee and guide a team of designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality design solutions that meet our brand standards.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to create impactful campaign assets that drive business results.
  4. Drive Innovation and Brand Coherence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our design solutions and maintain brand consistency.
  5. Manage Relationships with In-House Talent and Freelancers: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to expand our creative capabilities.
  6. Leverage Data and User Insights: Analyze data and user feedback to inform design decisions and drive business outcomes.
  7. Oversee Design Projects: Ensure the successful delivery of design projects through clear communication and efficient project management.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a highly motivated and experienced creative professional with a passion for brand identity and visual strategy. You will have a strong portfolio that showcases your ability to craft compelling brand identities and a proven track record of leading design teams.

You will be a natural collaborator who can build strong relationships across departments and a self-motivated individual who thrives in a remote work environment.

Requirements
  1. Proven Experience in Brand Identity and Visual Strategy: A strong portfolio that demonstrates your skills in brand identity development and visual strategy.
  2. Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading design teams and managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  3. Excellent Communication and Project Management Skills: Strong communication and project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of design projects.
  4. Ability to Analyze Data and User Feedback: The ability to analyze data and user feedback to inform design decisions and drive business outcomes.
