Java Developer Job Description

We are seeking experienced Java Developers to join our team at Itmagination Sp. Z O. O. in Málaga, Spain. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing new software and infrastructure, as well as maintaining existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test Java-based software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Java development for Senior role
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Java development for Junior role
  • Experience working with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud Stream
  • Knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases, along with Postman testing framework
  • Experience with JavaScript and Maven
  • Continuous Integration experience using GitHub and Jenkins
  • APIs knowledge: REST, SOAP, and Open API, along with software design patterns
  • Experience with cloud computing infrastructure using PaaS, Openshift, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Communicative English and fluent Spanish
