About the Role

Vista's Engineering organization is dedicated to making our company a leader in data-driven decision-making. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you'll be part of a cross-functional team that includes analysts, product owners, technologists, and data engineers. Our team is passionate about providing Vista with actionable insights and tools to deliver exceptional customer value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze multiple data sets to solve business problems related to the vast assortment of Vista products.
  • Create data visualizations to help stakeholders understand product catalog performance from various angles.
  • Enable your team to understand data flows and identify data gaps that may indicate system or operational process flaws.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in SQL queries.
  • Data visualization experience (ideally in Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytics environment.
  • Skilled in exploratory analysis and statistical techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
  • Compelling communication and storytelling skills.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Optimizely, Statsig, or similar experimentation tools.
  • Experience in designing/monitoring and analyzing experiments using statistical rigor.
