Support Specialist for Airbus Engineering

A significant opportunity has arisen in Airbus Customer Services to contribute to the success of Engineering & Maintenance.
This area is one of Airbus' primary interfaces with its customers, and the impact of its deliverables is a key factor in customer satisfaction. The increasing requirements from our customers and the complexity and pace of the evolution of our products ensure that this position is both challenging and crucial for the customer perception of Airbus.
The goal is to provide customers with high-quality manuals, service bulletins, ground support equipment, and scheduled maintenance documentation that enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations throughout the life cycle, in accordance with airworthiness requirements and regulations.
In this position, the intern will be responsible for supporting various activities, including:
Technical/Authoring Activities:
- Management and coordination of technical data authoring activities. Delivery of product content (creation and updating) in accordance with contractual commitments, configuration management rules, and quality standards.
- Proactive identification and propose solutions for blocking points that could risk the timely update of manuals within assigned ATA chapters.
- Constant assessment of assigned ATA chapters to identify possible issues in documentation before they impact our customers. Definition of improvement proposals to increase the level of quality and make the process more efficient.
- Acting as an interface between technical data, customers, and all Airbus internal contributors and external collaborators.
- Management of system configuration at the MSN level for all written procedures.
Subcontracting Activities Management:
- Management and monitoring of subcontractors, providing support in activities at the ATA level.
- Definition and analysis of KPIs to evaluate general performance.
Continuous Improvement:
- Dynamic department participating in transnational and transorganizational projects and initiatives to improve products and processes.
- Continuous improvements for processes and technical data tools, and transnational standardization of ways of work.
Customer Relationship & Support:
- Management and response to customer questions through the Tech Request Tool. Providing efficient and continuous support to customers to improve customer satisfaction and detect potential safety impacts.
- Responsibilities can be increased by assuming transversal missions within the SED, such as the role of Technical Data Customer Interface, coordinating major technical data subjects specific to a portfolio of airlines/lessors.
Required Skills:
As key skills and competences for the application:
- Engineering degree or studying a master related to engineering.
- Passion for aircraft, maintenance, engineering, and manuals.
- Enjoy generating instructions and procedures to assemble/disassemble machines and devices, and creating ancillary tooling to support the process.
- Proactivity, teamwork, curiosity, and an open-minded profile for change and continuous improvement.
- Good communication skills.
- Customer focus to guarantee excellence in our products and services.
- English knowledge (equivalent reference European frame B2 level).
- General knowledge of the aircraft and its systems.
The following skills are considered as a plus for this position:
- Detailed knowledge of the aircraft and its systems.
- Knowledge of Google suite tools, Skywise, and other digitalization initiatives.
- AI, programming, and small app development.
