Account Executive Job Description

Amazon Ads is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for brand advertisers and agencies. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service, managed service, and programmatic ad buying, these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, increase product sales, and more.

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will use your 5+ years' experience selling TV/Video and digital advertising solutions to C-Level and their ad agencies to successfully grow and scale advertising revenues. You will utilize your broad and long-standing client-side and agency relationships within the advertising space, employ a consultative approach and have deep understanding of the TV and digital advertising landscape. Inclusive of Streaming TV, Live Sports, Audio and Programmatic Video, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned clients and sell a broad range of advertising solutions that will ensure that their business goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate advertising revenue via ad agencies and advertisers directly, through objective led selling across Streaming TV and other brand-building advertising solutions.
  • Be a true hunter, hungry to uncover opportunities and connect it with a value adding solution.
  • Influence buying decisions to drive increased revenue from existing advertisers as well as new revenue streams.
  • Establish credible relationships with agencies and advertiser decision makers, in particular in the TV and Digital landscape.
  • Maps account strategies, aligning resources and uncovering which of our digital, audio and video products best serves an advertiser's needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Several years working experience within the media industry.
  • Experience in online marketing, TV or e-commerce field.
  • Good understanding of customers' marketing and media strategies.
  • Good understanding of the technical foundations of digital advertising.
  • Entrepreneurial, convincing and winning personality.
  • Ability to successfully influence stakeholders with individually developed concepts.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience with a digital or TV marketer, a media agency, or a media responsibility in a leading consumer company.
  • Self-motivated team player, with refined and assertive leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence others to set and achieve goals and deadlines.
