Job Description:
The Senior Compliance Officer will provide operational support to the Compliance department, focusing on regulatory reporting, training requirements, and compliance-related tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Compliance Diary, scheduling mandatory regulatory reporting and meetings with stakeholders.
- Coordinate compliance-related meetings and keep minutes of such meetings.
- Cooperate with internal teams to conduct research into new product areas, technological solutions, and country-specific regulations.
- Monitor regulatory websites, news, and alerts, maintaining a tracker of pertinent Bitfinex changes.
- Draft reports of important updates and present findings to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with AML, CTF, and Sanctions requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe applications.
- Ability to work flexibly across different time zones.
