Job Overview

The Procurement Manager for Software Vendors will be part of the Software Operations department, contributing to the success of TD SYNNEX Regional Innovation Business Services (RiBS) in Barcelona. This role is responsible for managing procurement activities for software vendors and maintaining stakeholder relationships within a dynamic and multicultural team that drives digital transformation. The primary goal is to enhance the day-to-day activities to increase partner satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage purchase orders (create, modify, control, and follow up) according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and vendor specifics.
  2. Understand, apply, and be aligned with vendor business licensing programs.
  3. Monitor license confirmations and ensure on-time deliveries.
  4. Follow up on invoicing and resolve price discrepancies.

Internal and External Stakeholder Management:

  1. Provide regular management information to internal and external stakeholders as required, ensuring data integrity.
  2. Maintain direct accountability for key metrics for specific vendor sets.
  3. Identify, monitor, and resolve incidents.

Order Quality Analysis and Improvement:

  1. Provide monthly analysis of order quality per vendor and country.
  2. Strive for improvements, e-commerce tool efficiency, and drive changes for assigned accounts.

Coordination with Other Areas/Departments:

  1. Coordinate with local teams and other RiBS departments to ensure proper process performance and customer satisfaction.
  2. Own and manage through to completion any ad-hoc projects as defined by the Software Operations Manager.

Requirements:

  1. Experience with SAP and BW.
  2. Proficient MS Office user (mainly MS Excel).
  3. Strong purchasing management and controlling skills with the ability to understand and resolve problems.
  4. Strong communication skills and customer-oriented.
  5. Analytical, organized, with the ability to plan and juggle multiple priorities and maintain focus.
  6. Ability to work under pressure.
  7. Proactive and self-motivated.
  8. Effective team work with internal customers and stakeholders in problem-solving.
  9. Adaptation to a changing environment.
  10. Flexibility on working hours (Q-end, bank holidays, etc.).
