About the Role
Sage is seeking a talented Graduate Software Engineer to join our team. As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will be responsible for managing your own project work items, actively sharing knowledge across the team, and working closely with delivery teams to carry out thorough and efficient testing to team processes and testing standards.

Responsibilities
As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating accurate test plans and executing against these, ensuring that all issues and risks are raised and managed to completion.
  • Managing your own project work items and actively sharing knowledge across the team.
  • Working closely with delivery teams to carry out thorough and efficient testing to team processes and testing standards.

What You'll Learn
As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to learn:

  • The basics of .NET development, understanding the basics of Visual Studio, and building ASP.Net applications.
  • The C# and Typescript languages, which the team will use on a daily basis.
  • Infrastructure as code with AWS CDK, and sufficient knowledge on AWS to get certified if you want.
  • Use of AI in your daily activities to supercharge your ability to deliver.
  • Using Github to manage your code and to collaborate with your team on it.
  • What clean code means.
  • Reviewing and getting your work reviewed.
  • Mastery of tools and techniques for debugging and unit testing.
  • Connecting remote databases and services via RESTful APIs.
  • Working in a Scrum team alongside other developers, QA Engineers, IT specialists, and product managers.
