Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Grid Codes Engineer to join our Grid Code Solutions department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring grid connection market compatibility of our new turbines, developing grid performance concepts, and ensuring market transparency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop grid performance concepts to ensure market compatibility of new turbines
  • Ensure market transparency and identify grid relevant product requirements
  • Identify testing needs for grid performance validation and requirements for model development
  • Ensure all documentation related to grid performance is compliant and according to internal guidelines
  • Develop analytics tools for grid code evaluations and assessments
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure the entire value chain is considered
  • Drive the topic and make decisions about tool roadmap
  • Represent Siemens Gamesa in Grid forums to influence future regulations and develop products with the best LCOE
Requirements
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or similar with a focus on power engineering/grid connection
  • At least 10 years of working experience in the renewable energy industry
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience with PSCAD, DigSilent, and/or Matlab
  • Location in Denmark or Spain preferred
  • Motivating team player with excellent communication skills
