About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Cost Control Specialist to join our team in Dublin, London, Berlin, or Zaragoza. As a key member of our Data Center Construction Cost Control (CCC) team, you will play a critical role in delivering efficient and innovative data centers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Job Description
- Engage and manage third-party Quantity Surveyors to ensure accurate construction cost estimates at various stages of design.
- Work seamlessly with multi-disciplinary teams to communicate cost control goals to all stakeholders effectively.
- Identify Value Engineering opportunities in the design and quantify the savings.
- Implement, maintain, and execute all cost control, change management, progress, and performance reporting.
- Validate construction change cost impacts and ensure vendor invoices are accurate and timely.
- Support the construction team with project close-out and final payments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in construction cost control, with specific knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or CSA cost elements.
- Experience communicating estimate strategy to construction and non-construction professionals.
- Experience with Data Center or other mission-critical construction environments.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as CostX, Cubit, Onscreen takeoff, Timberline, and Bluebeam.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reviewing and justifying budgets and estimates.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Compensation Package
The salary for this position is approximately €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
